WHO WE ARE
CrossFit Dallas Central strives to be the elite strength and conditioning facility for the city of Dallas, Texas and it's surrounding communities. We use and implement CrossFit as our principle training program because of the results it produces. Located a block away from the SMU campus and in the heart of Dallas, CrossFit Dallas Central is a 6,500 sq/ft. fitness center focused on group training that meets anyone's fitness needs.
TRAINING METHODOLOGY
Our philosophy of training is constantly varied and we use functional movements performed at a high intensity. Simply put, we use free weights, our own bodies, and a wide open space to get in shape and more importantly, get you ready for anything you do in life. At Crossfit Dallas Central, we train anyone willing to put in the sweat and handwork to achieving true fitness. From fire-fighters to first-time moms, from MMA fighters to school teachers, from Olympic athletes to weekend warriors, we train you to achieve the fitness to go out and succeed in whatever comes your way, no matter the circumstance or context.
Our goal is to increase an athlete’s overall work capacity. We progress towards this through many different sport modalities, such as: Olympic lifting, kettlebell training, gymnastics, running and sprinting, strong man training, climbing, rowing, and throwing. Through our training, you become stronger and faster, physically and mentally. We strive to build and improve the ten domains of fitness: cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility accuracy, agility, balance, coordination, speed, and power.
OUR CROSSFIT PROGRAMS
Fitness Elements:
Fitness Elements is your entry portal to our group training. We take getting in shape, break it down to it's core, and focus on high intensity, high energy, circuit-style conditioning. In addition, we take the time to teach the fundamentals of complex movements essential to CrossFit, essential to fitness, essential to LIFE. It is here in Fitness Elements where you will not only get in the best shape of your life, but begin to learn the skills required to train in our advanced group classes. This is ideal for beginners because we strive for high quality of coaching and training. But make no mistake that even the most experienced of members find Fitness Elements extremely challenging!
Advanced Group Training:
Utilize the skills you learn in Fitness Elements and join us for our advanced group. In Advanced Group Training, we foster a more intense and complex training regimen. We begin to use more weightlifting into our constantly varied programming to build stronger athletes and push the envelope of physical potential. Want to be ready for anything that comes your way? This is it, general physical preparedness at it's finest. Our advanced group athletes are comprised of those who are keen on tracking personal stats, measuring success and improvement by tangible data.
Strength & Conditioning:
Training for a sport or a more specialized fitness goal? This is the place for you where we give you tailored programming fit for your needs. Immerse yourself in a group of athletes that are also training alongside you, whether in the same sport or not. Some examples of athletes already training in our Strength & Conditioning program includes US Olympic level competitors, CrossFit games competitors, Triathletes, Powerlifters, Football players, MMA fighters. In addition to sports training, even if your goal is to increase your aerobic capacity or absolute strength, this is the group training for you.
