It's that time again!
We'd like to announce our newest fall competition:
The 2009 CrossFit Dallas Central All-Cities Open
We're introducing a very simple format this year, and we think everyone will enjoy the competition style. We'll have three events this season, events that globally encompass all three energy pathways and all ten general physical skills.
____________________________________________
Event #1: an olympic lifting movement, three attempts (non-consecutive) at a one rep maximum. This event will be scored relative to body weight. The lift and standards will be disclosed in the coming weeks.
____________________________________________
Event #2: a timed metabolic effort, with a cut-off time of ten minutes. The fastest time with proper execution of standard range of motion will win. Any weighted movements will NOT be relative to body weight.
____________________________________________
Event #3: an AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) in 30 minutes or less, scored based on the total amount of repetitions achieved. Partial rounds WILL count, as placing can be determined on as little of margin as one rep. Any weighted movements will NOT be relative to body weight.
____________________________________________
We're capping this event at 50 people. More information will follow soon on open registration times, packet pick up, heat information, and any additional information you'll need to know as a competitor.
The 2009 CFDC ACO will be held December 12th. Starting and finishing times for each heat will be announced at a later date.
Post any questions to comments, or e-mail one of the coaching staff. We except most, if not all, of our CFDC athletes to stack the competition.
Thanks!

Nooooooooo I'm in Austin that weekend. :(
Wish I could make it. Running and Endurance Cert :(
Guy - you bet you can! I did Roshambo last year without a remote chance of winning. Still had a great time.
Mmm? I'll think about it.
Would love to do it, but there is something about showering a baby?
So far and not ever.
Thank you Dean.
Awww man. We changed it from the date of the Running Cert to the date of the Barbell Cert.... I'm still out :(
I still expect CFDC to dominate.
Doug, we need judges.
That flyer is so communist. Thanks People's Republic of China citizen Dean Xu for the art.
How do you register?
